The Core is the primary objective for each map. In order to win a match, a team has to destroy the opposing team's Core.
The Core is the source of the minion waves. The Core is untargetable until one or more of a team's inhibitors are destroyed. The core defends itself by releasing a pulse of energy when it senses nearby enemies. This pulse deals damage that is evenly distributed by all enemies in the area.

An Inhibitor is the last structure that defends the core. It dictates what type of minion will spawn in that lane. There are three inhibitors on each end of the map, protecting the path to the Core. If an inhibitor is active, each minion wave will consist of several normal ranged and melee minions. Every fourth wave will also have a "siege minion," a minion that has more health than average.

If an inhibitor in a lane is destroyed, the opposing team will spawn a different wave of minions. This wave has a "Super Minion" at the helm along with other minions. They have higher health and cause more damage than regular minions. As there is an Inhibitor in each lane prior to reaching the Core, at least one of them will have to be destroyed before the Core can be attacked. Until then, it is invulnerable to damage.

Like Towers, Inhibitors will go on the offensive and attack minions as well as enemy players. They can withstand a lot of damage but can do a lot as well. Players will want to buffet themselves with minions before trying to take out an inhibitor. Inhibitors will switch from target to target and enemy players near the structure will be visible on the map.

Destruction of an Inhibitor gives experience to all allied Heroes near the area. The team that destroys an inhibitor will spawn Super Minions. Inhibitors will not respawn if destroyed.

The first line of defense. At the first minute has an increased level of protection. Their primary purpose is to attack minions of the opposing team.

The tower will switch to an enemy player if they attack a player on the same side as the tower or if there are no minions in the area. Players can detach themselves from the tower's energy beam by moving out of range, then safely reengage it by following their team's minions back in.

Minions lower the shields around enemy structures. Follow them in and destroy the enemy structure! Towers attack the first Enemy that comes in range. Stay behind your Minions.

Has more health than T1 Tower. Whenever either of the T2 towers fall, both Jump Pads are deactivated for the team that loses that tower.

A weak pair of monsters that are found frequently within each team's jungle. The White camps don't drop a buff, but do still grant amber and experience to the killer. Each camp is reinforced with one extra minion every two minutes, up to five per camp.

Green Camp has two jungle minions and Green Guard, defeat their to gain a shield (225 + 25(level_hero - 1) damage) for 60 second that reflects 20 damage to enemies when basic attacked. When the shield expires, it explodes, dealing 80 + 13(level_hero - 1) damage in an area.

There is one Gold Camp to the side of each team's right lane, near the T1 tower.

Hero killed the Gold Guardian gets a 20% bonus to card experience for 45 seconds.

River Buffs are granted by killing the River Guardians. River Guardians - a weak monster that resides by each team's river.

Red buff - 25% bonus damage from abilities for 40 seconds

Blue buff - 100 Movement Speed for 25 seconds

Black buff - DOT on Basic Atacks: scales from around 40 dps to 100+ dps for 40 seconds

Purple buff - Shadow Plane for 40 seconds.

All buffs, in addition to their effects, also grant 35 Mana Regen for 5 seconds.

The Raptors are a neutral camp that spawn near the middle of map. There is only one Raptor camp and therefore it is a camp you will be contesting with the enemy team.

The Raptors spawn at 4 minute mark, and respawn at 4 minute intervals from then on. There can only be 3 Raptors at one time.

Each Raptor provides the last hitter with 1000 CXP, the equivalent to 1 card point. They are reasonably hard to kill and they make a lot of noise, so you have to be careful when attempting to clear them.

The Orb Prime Guardian is the most powerful monster in Paragon. Kill it to activate your team's Prime Cards.

The Orb Prime Guardian spawns at 10 minutes at the location indicated by the purple circle on the mini-map. Kill it to activate your team's Prime Cards. Destroy the Prime Guardian to activate your powerful Prime Card. This fight requires multiple teammates!

Dont let opponents get the Prime buff, track their movement by wards. Recommended already in the 15-20 minute game.
